Hapkido Boxing  was founded in 2008 and HBIO is the officially recognized body for Hapkido Boxing for international Competitions. the Hapkido Boxing (HBIO) systems focus on more Modern Fighting art forms (YUDO) that Developed by Senior Masters Of HBIO .the Hapkido Boxing  is not Affiliated with Hapkido Federation. it Sanctions its own National Federations and has its own requirements. Although Hapkido Boxing  and Hapkido are closely related, they are two very different sports. The main difference is that in Hapkido Boxing Use Boxing Ring for competitions . its Sparring Principles Are very Different. we would definitely say that Hapkido has a more aesthetic, fast-paced, and flashy art aspect to it whereas Hapkido Boxing is more about the art of how the human body could generate maximum power with the Inner body(KI) techniques that Hapkido Boxing teaches. there is definitely more depth to the differences between Hapkido  and Hapkido Boxing  than the country of origin (which in this case is actually both Korea although Hapkido is known as Korean because of Yong Sool Choi from South Korea). Hapkido Boxing is a popular sport in the developing countries due to its simplicity, easy to comprehend rules and public appeal. Hapkido Boxing International Organization was formed  in early 2008. Hapkido Boxing is a Hybrid martial art originated from  asian traditional martial art and Korean Traditional martial art. It spread over all the world , Hong kong South Korea , North Korea , India , Iran, Brazil, Pakistan, Singapore,  Spain, USA,  Nepal, Sri Lanka, Australia, Tunisia, Venezuela.

 Hapkido Boxing means “The Way of harmonious Spirit and Co-Ordination with Power”.  Hapkido Boxing is relatively modern since its development began in Asia. The name Hapkido Boxing was Coined by HBIO  executive member. HBIO is the largest International governing body of Hapkido Boxing. The HBIO is world Hapkido Boxing Head Quarter. It serves as the sole registry and determination of certification for DAN and Instructor, it is the HBIO which does research, design, development and modification of the curriculum for the student and instructor alike. HBIO conduct and assign instructor seminar. HBIO decides what the requirement for permeation is and if things such as YUDO interpretation are involved. The HBIO organizes the junior and senior world Hapkido Boxing Championships, which are held every two year.  

 Hapkido Boxing is combat & sport that allows the use of both striking and grappling techniques both standing and on the ground. Hapkido Boxing contain both long and close range fighting techniques, utilizing, jumping kick’s and percussive hand strike and longer range and pressure point, strike, joint lock or throw at closer fighting distance. Hapkido emphasizes circular motion, non resisting movements and control of the opponent. Its most prominent feature is competitive elements, where the object is to either throw, take down an opponent to the ground, immobilize or otherwise subdue an opponent with a grappling maneuver or force an opponent to submit by joint lock or executing a strangle hold, choke, strikes, and thrust by hand and feet as well as weapons defenses. Originally Hapkido Boxing is promoted as a competition with the intention of finding the most effective martial arts for real unarmed combat situations.
